Objectives

The objectives of the International Interdisciplinary Alliance Against Implant-Related Infections are as follows:

1. Registration and characterisation of implant-associated infections
2. Development of  multidisciplinary approaches for the prevention and treatment of implant-associated infections
3. Discussion of medical, industrial and governmental perspectives regarding the development of strategies to prevent or treat implant-associated infections
4. Creation of a communication platform with annual international meetings
